You'd expect of a book with such a title and an author with such a name (and, what's more, a book that's free on Kindle) to be light, fun and a bit rubbish. Well, that's right on two counts but (cynical me) it wasn't rubbish at all. OK, so it wasn't high literature, but the plot and characters were engaging and the prose well written. Perhaps my struggles with "Freedom" have skewed my opinion but it's the first fiction I've read on my Kindle and looks like I struck lucky this time.
