No, I Don't Want to Join a Book Club - Virginia Ironside

A slightly ironic choice by my book club and another example of baby-boomers growing old disgracefully. It is what it is - a funny account of middle-aged, middle-class Londoners who don't quite realise how lucky they are to be the only generation to enjoy a lifetime of health and wealth and freedom. For those of us who came before and come after, the story of our 60th years will be very different. But, my own existential angst aside, it's good fun.
