More non-fiction, yet novelised to the point of fiction. How fortunate that the writer happened to be in all the right places at all the right times and know all the right people. But he is clever in capturing the essence of these people and, really, it's the characters that make the book work, rather than the plot, which is a murder without the mystery. Oddly, the film seems to be a fictionalised account of this non-fiction fiction, using some of the real characters. Appropriate, perhaps.
