I read a review of this when it was first published a few years ago and for some reason it stuck in my mind. Although not particularly well written, this is a gratifyingly dark take on family relationships - there's no Tyler/Shields sentimentality here, creating a sense that the woman driven to take twisted revenge on her sisters actually has a point.
